The Founder:

The owner and president of the company, Lance Johnson, has over 22 years of experience in the engineering, real estate and construction industries. Mr. Johnson is a licensed professional engineer, a Kansas Real Estate Broker and holds a Class B general contractor’s license.

Over the past 22 years, Johnson has led a company involved in the engineering design and development of public and private infrastructure projects in many communities. In addition, he has formed and led companies in the development, construction, and sale of residential and commercial real estate. Mr. Johnson understands the design, construction, and real estate industries whether it’s a simple boundary survey, site plan, sewer plans or a complex development project. He knows how to get it built and sold as well – from a single-family house to a commercial warehouse or retail strip center.

Mr. Johnson has served as a Lawrence City Commissioner. In doing so, along with his extensive knowledge of civil engineering and public projects, Mr. Johnson gained invaluable understanding of the public process and the numerous challenges that a municipality faces long term as well as any given day. He understands the budgetary constraints, and the maintenance issues that go along with the infrastructure.

Over the years, Mr. Johnson has helped many clients, both public and private, deal with the financing, design, permitting, and construction challenges. Mr. Johnson has been fortunate to have worked with experienced, talented, professional, and dedicated partners, staff, and sub-consultants. The approach has always been to build a team (Group) to get the job done.
